The Dutchman took over the Reds in June 2024 after the departure of Jurgen Klopp.
After short stints at Cambuur and AZ, his time at Feyenoord was most notable, becoming finalists with the Dutch side in the Conference League in 2022, before winning an Eredivisie league title and the KNVB Cup in his tenure.
Slot ended up becoming the fifth manager in Premier League history to win the Premier League in his first season, with the focus of his high-intensity, winning tactics using a 4-2-3-1 formation to play between the lines and implement a 4-4-2 pressing shape to force mistakes into opponents.

Liverpool had a major revamp in the summer with nearly £450 million spent in the hope of retaining their Premier League title.
Virgil Van Dijk recent improvement alongside the return of Gravenberch will prove a challenge, requiring our record-breaking goal scorer Erling Haaland to continue his extraordinary form to produce more goals on Sunday.
Dominik Szoboszlai is also someone who has been consistently playing to a high level, despite Liverpool’s drop in form.
The Hungarian has played all over the pitch from right back up to the number ten role, and his work rate and quality in turning defence to attack has been problematic to many opponents.
And finally Liverpool's main threat, who we know all too well.
Mohamed Salah is one of the Premier League greats and is the one that the City defence need to contain on Sunday. The Egyptian boasts a total of 13 goals and eight assists in 23 appearances across all competitions against City and will no doubt be keen to add to that.
Despite a slower start to the 25/26 campaign, Salah still has six goal contributions across the opening 10 league matches so we will need to keep close to him.

Pep Guardiola will face the media for the pre-match press conference from 12:30 (UK) on Friday 7 November, where the City boss will provide all the latest team news updates and you can follow it live on mancity.com and our official app.
Don't worry if you are unable to watch live, as we'll have a written review and video recap soon after it has concluded.
The Reds claimed a 2-0 victory at the Etihad last season, with Salah and Szoboszlai on the scoresheet.
Omar Marmoush had the ball in the back of the net for the Blues but his goal was ruled out for offside.
Erling Haaland’s double, plus a brace of assists for Rayan Cherki, proved the difference in our 3-1 victory over Bournemouth.
Bournemouth hoped to continue their winless streak at the Etihad, but it was quickly thwarted by an in-form Haaland who comfortably found the back of the net twice.
Phil Foden also impressed on his 200th appearance for the Blues, creating multiple chances and playing freely in behind Haaland.
