Hansi Flick
Hansi Flick has a clear objective for the Clasico this afternoon at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Although suspended after his sending off against Girona, Hansi Flick will watch the match remotely from the stands. In the German manager's mind, one thing is certain: he wants to extend his incredible run against Los Blancos. Since taking charge of the Catalan side, Flick has never lost to Madrid. Four Clásicos, four victories, and an impressive record: sixteen goals scored, just seven conceded.
This Sunday, Flick will have to do without Lewandowski and Raphinha, last year’s goalscorers, but the blaugrana’s confidence remains unshaken. As a player, Flick also enjoyed facing Madrid, having suffered just one defeat—back in 1988 with the Bavarian club. He now dreams of extending his perfect run in charge of Barça.
Above all, five Clásicos, five wins—no Barça manager has ever achieved such a feat. And even if he can’t experience it from the touchline, Flick knows that a fifth victory would go down in club history.
