Clément Lenglet has apologised to his Benfica team-mates for his dismissal in the matchday seven Clássico at Porto. According to Glorioso 1904, the centre-back accepted responsibility to colleagues after being sent off.

The France international was first booked on 25 minutes for a foul on Victor Froholdt near the Benfica area. Referee Miguel Nogueira showed a second yellow 10 minutes later after Lenglet caught André Silva with his left hand on the back of the neck.
