Mya Jones exited the match in the 24’ for goalkeeper Hillary Beall to enter for the home side. Both squads remained nil-nil through halftime.

Luebbert finally broke the deadlock in the 59’, ready in the box to pounce on a rebound for what would end up being the match-winning goal.

San Diego tried to even things out through the final moments of the match but was unable to earn the point that would have won them the group. The Wave finished third place in Group B on goal difference as the three top teams ended with a 3-0-1 record and nine points.

Club América Femenil finished first in the group and advanced to the Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals. Portland Thorns, which secured its place in the Finals on Tuesday, finished second place.
