Club Brugge closing in on Strasbourg midfielder Félix Lemarechal | OneFootball

Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that Club Brugge are on the verge of signing Félix Lemarechal. The midfielder, currently at Strasbourg, spent a season on loan at city rivals Cercle Brugge during his time at Monaco. Lemarechal impressed during his time in Belgium with Cercle Brugge and was a real driving force behind the side qualifying for European football. According to Tavolieri, Club Brugge will spend between €6 and €7m to bring Lemarechal back to Belgian football, with a contract that will run until 2029.

The 22-year-old Lemarechal has had an inconsistent season with Strasbourg due to injuries. So far he has played 16 games with four assists. Last season he had a good year, with five goals and three assists in 30 games. This came off the back of his fantastic 2023/2024 campaign in Belgian football. During his season with Cercle Brugge, the then Monaco loanee played 32 games, with two goals and six assists. His ability on the ball was unquestionable and Lemarechal will certainly add a different dimension to the Club Brugge midfield.
