Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that Club Brugge are showing interest in signing FC Zurich’s teenage midfielder Cheveyo Tsawa. The 18-year-old Swiss youngster made his debut for FC Zurich during the 2023/2024 season and has represented Switzerland at various youth levels.
Last year Tsawa played 19 games for the side, scoring three goals and adding two assists. So far this season the midfielder has started all 11 games in the Swiss Super League, scoring twice. The club itself has not had as good a start to the season however. They currently sit in 9th place in the Swiss Super League, with just 16 points from 13 games. They are already 15 points behind leaders Thun.
Club Brugge have had success scouting in Switzerland in recent years. Now at Inter, Ardon Jashari made the move from the Swiss top flight to Club Brugge in the Pro League. He was an instant success for Club Brugge and it was not surprising that he earned a move to Serie A.
