Club Not Close To Deal For Burnley Star But Price Clear | OneFootball

Burnley are not close to agreeing to a deal with FC Copenhagen for Jacob Bruun Larsen and it is unclear whether the Danish club will make an offer in the coming days.

The Clarets suffered relegation to the Championship last season and due to that they are seeing a host of players depart Turf Moor.

Players in the form of Luca Koleosho, Jaiden Anthony, Martin Dubravka and Loum Tchaouna have already left the club and several players are still being linked with a move out of the club.

Bruun Larsen, who joined Burnley last summer from VfB Stuttgart to bolster them for a Premier League campaign, has been linked with a move to Danish giants Copenhagen.

The left winger featured 28 times for Burnley last season in the Premier League, starting only ten games and managing to provide one assist throughout the season.

Bruun Larsen has three more years left on his contract with Burnley and the Clarets have slapped a €4m price tag on his head.

Copenhagen are aware of the Burnley star’s price tag and it was suggested in Denmark that the Danish giants have made an attempt to sign him.

However, according to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, Copenhagen are not close to agreeing to any deal with Burnley to take Bruun Larsen back to Denmark.

There is also a big uncertainty regarding the future of the 27-year-old left winger, as it is not clear whether Copenhagen will even make an attempt to sign him on loan or a permanent transfer in the summer.

Bruun Larsen has been part of new Burnley boss Nick Hayen’s pre-season training and he has regularly started in pre-season games for them.

Burnley will try to get back in the Premier League at their first attempt and if Bruun Larsen stays at Turf Moor he will be looking to get his stock up in the market by helping the Clarets win promotion.
