The nominees for the best women's U21 players are now in. 

There are suggestions that Raphinha has missed out on a nomination in the final Ballon d'Or shortlist. 

Some confusion here as to how many nominees there are for Men's Goalkeeper of the Year but it looks like they've settled on a final 10!

And now we have five more nominees for the Men's Goalkeeper of the Year!

And up next we have the Men's Goalkeeper nominations, which should be dropping any minute.

It seems difficult to look past Cata Coll in that category, with the Barcelona goalkeeper winning a quadruple last season.

And here we have the nominees for Women's Goalkeeper of the Year:

Up next will be the nominees for Women's Goalkeeper of the Year.

Four Spaniards and one Belgian. The Iberian peninsula is really dominating things in the dugout of late.

Five great names there but surely this award is a toss-up between De La Fuente and Luis Enrique?

And now it's the Men's Coach of the Year nominees!

If the format from earlier is being followed, then I imagine we'll have the Men's Coach up next. Stay tuned!

And here come the nominees for Women's Coach of the Year ...

You can scrap what we just said in the last post. It looks like the next award nominees will be for Women's Coach!

If the running order from the Ballon d'Or website is to be believed, we should have Women's Strike of the Year up next.

Hello everyone and welcome to a very special live blog as the nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or are set to be revealed. We'll be bringing you the names of those dreaming of lifting the biggest individual trophy in football and all the reaction that comes with it. First though, we'll have plenty of other awards, including Men's Coach, Women's Coach, the Kopa Trophies for best young player and, of course, the Women's Ballon d'Or too.
