Club Will Move For Leeds United Star ‘If No Better Option Appears’ | OneFootball

Valencia will look to intensify their effort to land Leeds United star Largie Ramazani in the coming days if they fail to find better options in the market.

Leeds sanctioned a season-long loan for Ramazani to Valencia last summer and the 25-year-old made seven goal contributions for the La Liga outfit, featuring 27 times for them.

He returned to Elland Road following the expiry of his loan spell with Valencia, but Daniel Farke did not involve him in Leeds’ pre-season tour to the USA and Ramazani is not in the German’s plans.

The 25-year-old is keen on a return to the Mestalla and he has been in touch with several Valencia players regarding his desire to join them this summer.

Valencia need to sign another winger and a factor speaking for Ramazani is that he is considered by CEO Ron Gourley as an excellent value-for-money option.

Los Che boss Carlos Corberan has his reservations regarding a move for Ramazani, but despite that, Valencia held talks with Leeds while proposing a loan with an option to sign him permanently next summer.

However, Leeds promptly rejected Valencia’s proposed formula, as they want a permanent sale and have slapped an €8m price tag on Ramazani’s head.

It has been suggested that the Spanish outfit are in search of a better winger than Ramazani in the market who they can afford and consider the Leeds star as a ‘least bad’ option.

According to Spanish radio programme Tribuna Deportiva, the Mestalla outfit will step up their efforts to land Leeds star Ramazani in the coming days ‘if no better option appears’.

Ramazani has two years left on his contract with Leeds and the Yorkshire giants are looking for a substantial fee.

Valencia may be willing to do a permanent deal if the price is under €5m.

Leeds brought the former Manchester United academy star from Almeria in the summer of 2024 and he has made 31 appearances so far while netting seven goals.

Valencia will hope that as the deadline approaches, Leeds’ stance softens.
