Codina and Pelova to leave Arsenal in the summer

Laia Codina and Victoria Pelova will leave Arsenal when their contracts expire at the end of season.

Codina joined from Barcelona in summer 2023 and the 26-year-old defender has made 58 appearances for the Gunners after making her Women’s Super League debut in October 2023.

Midfielder Pelova, 26, joined Arsenal from Ajax in January 2023, making her debut later that month and has gone on to make 87 appearances for the Gunners.

In their time at Arsenal, both players won the League Cup in 2024, the UEFA Women’s Champions League title in 2025 and the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in 2026.
