Colón smiles: Almirante Brown beaten away at San Telmo | OneFootball

Almirante Brown, one of the teams fighting for the top spots in Primera Nacional, lost 3-2 this Sunday to San Telmo at Isla Maciel and missed an important chance to pick up points in the final stretch of the championship.

The defeat of the Isidro Casanova side was a favorable result for Colón, who have 52 points and are looking to finish as high as possible ahead of the Reducido.

With this result, Almirante Brown remain on 46 points, six behind El Sabalero, who still have important matches ahead. In that sense, the schedule gives Colón a key opportunity: on matchday 34 they will host Almirante Brown in Santa Fe, in a game that could prove decisive in determining positions and ambitions in the battle for the best possible seeding in the promotion playoffs.
