Como make attempt for former Man Utd striker Anthony Martial | OneFootball

Newly promoted Serie A side Como are interested in signing former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial and have already made an attempt for him.

Martial’s contract at Old Trafford ran out in the summer and he is now a free agent. He was recently linked with a move to Besiktas, who have now signed Ciro Immobile from Lazio.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Como’s move for Raphael Varane is nearing and it could be done next week, with Pepe Reina also set to join. Rodri Sanchez is a target too, but the Azzurri also want to sign a striker to bolster their squad this summer.

A key target is Martial, who has offers on the table and one offer is also from Como. The Frenchman did take the attempt from Besiktas seriously and was keen on the move. There is renewed hope at Como that they could bring the striker to the club.

Meanwhile, former Roma goalkeeper Pau Lopez is also on the way and Alberto Moreno is another player who is set to join.
