According to Football Italia, Como have made a first formal proposal for Moise Kean, a €5m loan with an obligation to buy for a further €25m, though it is not expected to be sufficient.
The Italy forward has been on Como’s radar for some time, with the club aiming to increase their number of Italian players for red tape reasons.
Kean is under contract until June 2029 and has a €62m release clause that applies only to clubs outside Italy if triggered between July one-15.
A sale this late in the window at around half that figure appears implausible.
Kean registered nine goals and four assists in 33 competitive outings last season while managing a recurring ankle issue.
It is believed he is open to the move, which would bring Champions League football, but Fiorentina are seeking an absolute minimum of €40m.
