Confirmed: Barcelona register Anthony Gordon with La Liga | OneFootball

After completing the registrations of new signings Rodri and Karim Adeyemi, FC Barcelona have now proceeded to successfully register another summer arrival, Anthony Gordon.

Indeed, the England winger, who was signed from Newcastle United in a deal worth €70 million plus add-ons, has now been enrolled in La Liga.

The registration has been completed well ahead of Barcelona’s opening league game on Sunday night when they take on Elche at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.

With Gordon now registered, the Blaugrana have now secured registrations for three of their summer arrivals and only one, Joao Cancelo, remains pending.

The Portuguese international’s signing was confirmed on Thursday and it remains to be seen if the La Liga champions get him registered before Sunday’s opening game against Elche.

Unlike previous summers, when Barcelona had to scramble for registrations, things have gone much smoother this time around, because the club are back operating under the 1:1 Fair Play rule.

Three players have now been successfully registered and are set to make their official debut for Barcelona this weekend.
