FC Barcelona are back in action in La Liga for the third time this season as they take on Rayo Vallecano at the Spotify Camp Nou.

After strong wins over Elche and Athletic Club in their first two games of the new campaign, the Blaugrana will be eager to extend their perfect start and make it three in a row.

Ahead of kickoff at Camp Nou in a little over an hour, manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will take the field.

The German tactician has made three changes to the team that took the field earlier this week against Athletic Club, with two of them coming in defence.

Indeed, Jules Kounde replaces Eric Garcia at right-back, while Andreas Christensen gets the nod at centre-back in place of Gerard Martin.

Pau Cubarsi keeps his place in the team, while teenage breakout star Xavi Espart continues at left-back again, ahead of Alejandro Balde and Joao Cancelo.

Marc Bernal and Pedri continue as Barcelona’s double pivot in midfield, meaning new signing Rodri’s wait for his first start continues.

Fermin Lopez, who has scored three goals in two games this season, has been left out though, with Dani Olmo starting as the No. 10.

Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon line up as the wingers while captain Raphinha is once again entrusted with the No. 9 role.
