Eintracht Frankfurt (0-1-0, 11th) host FC Augsburg (1-0-0, 6th) in the last match of the second week of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season; kickoff is set for 17.30 (CET) at Deutsche Bank Park.

Despite leading 3-1 with eleven minutes remaining, the Hessian side opened their campaign with a 3-3 draw in the capital against 1. FC Union Berlin at Stadion An der Alten Försterei last week, with Younes Ebnoutalib managing a hat-trick (10’, 11’, 67’) for the visitors. As for the Bavarian side, they opened their sixteenth consecutive Bundesliga season with a 3-0 victory against recently-promoted Nordrhein-Westfalen side FC Schalke 04, with goals from Michael Gregoritsch (18’), Anton Kade (79’), and Rodrigo Ribeiro (90+2’).

In addition, Augsburg have not defeated Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park since 14.
