The second-best teams in Germany and France are locking horns in the first round of Champions League’s new format. After five straight wins in the Frauen-Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal Frauen, Wolfsburg will search for a similar start in Europe.

Vivien Endemann was directly involved in half of the goals in their 8-0 win over Essen, but she will start this one from the bench. Dutch international Lineth Beerensteyn, who scored four goals in as many league appearances, is back in the starting lineup. Experienced duo Alexandra Popp and Svenja Huth are also present in Wolfsburg’s attacking line.
