Confirmed: Real Madrid squad list to face Ferencvaros – Vinicius, Bernardo in, no Diomande | OneFootball

Real Madrid will play their next pre-season friendly on Saturday when they take on Ferencvaros in Budapest, Hungary.

Having played three games so far, against Alcorcon, Leganes, and Fiorentina, the Merengues will be hoping to continue preparations for the upcoming season with another positive performance against the Hungarian outfit.

Now, manager Jose Mourinho has announced the squad list of players that will be travelling to Hungary for the match.

As expected, superstar forward Vinicius Jr., who rejoined training his week and signed a new long-term contract with the club, is included in the squad and could make his first appearance under Mourinho.

Meanwhile, fellow attacker Brahim Diaz, who also returned to pre-season this week, will also be on the flight.

No Diomande

However, there is no place in the squad for €140 million new signing Yan Diomande. The teenager’s signing was confirmed only on Thursday and he did not train with the squad today, leading to him not being called up.

Fellow new signing Bernardo Silva, though, gets called up, having had a few days of training under his belt. Carlos Espi, who had been in the squad for the Fiorentina game but did not play, is also included.

Antonio Rudiger and Dean Huijsen return to the squad after not travelling to Austria for the previous match, but Raul Asencio remains unavailable.

As far as academy talents go, Mourinho has included Sergio Mestre, Javi Navarro, Lamini Fati, Joan Martinez, Mario Rivas, Jorge Cestero, Lacosta, Alexis Ciria, and Dani Yanez in the squad.

Endrick, who is being linked with a loan departure, is also in the squad.
