Conmebol unveils 2027 Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa calendars, finals in November | OneFootball

On Tuesday, Conmebol unveiled the 2027 calendars for the Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa, with finals slated for November and a mid-year pause.

The Libertadores will open with first-leg ties in the first week of February, followed by a group stage from 7 April to 26 May. The final is scheduled for 27 November, subject to change.

The Sudamericana adds a new wrinkle, with two-legged qualifiers on 3 and 10 March. Its final is set for 20 November, one week before the Libertadores showpiece.

The Recopa, between this year’s Libertadores and Sudamericana winners, is planned for 17 and 24 February. All competitions will pause for the Women’s World Cup in Brazil from 24 June to 25 July, apart from the Sudamericana play-off first legs on 21 July.

Corinthians could feature in up to two of next year’s tournaments. One route is to win the current Libertadores, in which they are in the quarter-finals and face Estudiantes of Argentina in the weeks of 9 and 16 September.

They can also qualify via the Campeonato Brasileiro. The team sit 10th with 32 points and are currently in the Sudamericana qualification places.
