Olympique de Marseille’s challenge to the away-fan travel ban for Saturday’s match at Paris FC’s Jean-Bouin was rejected by the Conseil d'État. According to L'Équipe, the decision came on Friday afternoon.

The club had already been dismissed on Thursday by the Tribunal administratif de Paris in its first attempt to overturn the measure for the 17:00 kick-off.

The club and the association "Les amis du virage sud" asked for the prefectoral and ministerial orders to be suspended, but the application was rejected.

In reaching its decision, the Conseil d'État took account of PSG supporters being present among the Paris FC contingent at the earlier meeting at the Vélodrome, the police intervention required that day, and the stadium’s proximity to the Parc des Princes.

Despite the rulings, authorities still fear Marseille fans could be in the stands at Jean-Bouin on Saturday.
