Nicolas Jackson won’t be at Bayern Munich next season, and has a lot of interest from clubs in Italy according to Fabrizio Romano.
Jackson joined Bayern on a season long loan deal on deadline day last summer, but things haven’t gone completely to plan.
There is an obligation to buy in the deal based on a certain number of appearances , but that now can’t be activated given Jackson’s participation in the African Cup of Nations.
Jackson was left out of Bayern’s squad for their DFB Pokal quarter final against RB Leipzig in midweek, and he’s largely played second fiddle to Harry Kane.
The Senegal international has scored five goals in 21 appearances in all competitions, but has started just seven games in total.

Reportedly a number of clubs are keeping an eye on Jackson, and Romano has provided an update ahead of the summer.
“The second name I want to give you today, and remember this date, for the 2026 transfer market, and we’ll see if also for the Italian league, because he has always been highly rated in Italy, is Nicolas Jackson,” he told his Italian YouTube channel.
“In the summer, Jackson will return to Chelsea; he won’t stay at Bayern. So keep an eye on this, because he has always been well-regarded in Italy. He’s a player who has consistently been appreciated by Italian clubs.”
Romano added that whilst Jackson has interest in England, the forward could also be a name to watch in Italy.
“I believe he could once again become a name to watch for the Italian market, and also for the English market, because there are Premier League clubs already monitoring the situation,” he added.

“As mentioned, Jackson will not be a Bayern player next season, but I expect he could have different opportunities beyond what happens with Bayern, both in England and in Italy.
“So he’s definitely a name to keep an eye on in the coming months.”
