Corinthians won their opening match in the Copinha, in a tough encounter against Trindade-GO. As usual, the club released behind-the-scenes footage of the duel, featuring statements from captain Luiz Gustavo Bahia, a pep talk by William Batista, and celebrations by Favela, the scorer of the winning goal.

“I really want to leave here as a champion, but we can't think about being champions more than living in the moment. This is the first time I'm going to be a champion here. And I trust each one of you, I'm sure we can go out there and perform because we've worked with the Wizard (William Batista),” emphasized Bahia in the huddle before the team went onto the field.
