Valencia prepare for CA Osasuna in matchweek 26, a key fixture for their ambitions. Carlos Corberán has highlighted Dani Raba’s professionalism and readiness despite limited starts.

According to Superdeporte, the head coach told reporters at Paterna that Raba is a top professional who trains daily to seize any chance. He underlined the winger’s physical and mental preparation for when he is needed.

Corberán aligned Raba’s situation with that of Ramazani, Cömert and Dimitrievski, noting that players out of the XI must prepare and wait. That approach has earned Raba the staff’s trust and could translate into minutes in the coming weeks.

He also addressed the reverse fixture on matchday two at El Sadar, when José Luís Gayà was sent off midway through the first half after a loss of possession. The red card forced immediate changes and Raba was withdrawn from the starting line-up. Images hinted at frustration, but Corberán said he did not register any reproachable gesture or lapse in professionalism.

Raba impressed in pre-season, scoring in a friendly against Olympique Marseille and showing he can influence Valencia’s attack. On matchday one he set up Diego López in the draw with Real Sociedad at Mestalla.

With Valencia chasing important points, Raba’s patience remains central to his involvement. His work-rate and attitude could prove useful when depth and wide pace are required in upcoming games.
