Four consecutive appearances on the bench for Danjuma

To achieve our objective, it will be important to have 100% of our players at 100% fitness. We need everyone to be at their best. I like to gauge the players' mindset before they arrive, so they know what to expect. These conversations don't create any special privileges. I'm delighted with Danjuma; he has great qualities, and I'm absolutely convinced he's going to bring a lot of joy to Valencia CF fans.

Managing effort with a lack of rest between matches

We're going to have to show a lot of character and passion to go into this game with that mentality. I see character, passion, desire, and determination to compete tomorrow within the team. Set pieces will be crucial for transitioning towards the opposing goal. It's going to be a very demanding match; we know Getafe CF and their coach well. The squad's desire to make a statement in LaLiga is greater than the difficulty we're going to face and the amount of rest we've had. Desire and determination can overcome any kind of difficulty.

Bordalás getting the most out of his players

I respect him immensely. He had a very good season at Valencia CF and has consistently had good seasons, putting together very competitive teams. I disagree that they have minimal resources. I see two very good midfielders in their squad, they've signed players, and I see a team that compete. It's very commendable because they work very well and get results. We're focused on ourselves. I'm fortunate to also have very competitive players, and we're going there with the objective of achieving something very positive.

Burgos CF's claim against Valencia CF for fielding an ineligible player

I don't know. In Spain and in Europe, players are allowed to play for two clubs in the same season. Sadiq played for Real Sociedad and now for Valencia CF. I don't understand the objective behind Burgos CF's claim. It's become very clear that it had no basis whatsoever.

Good feelings in the Copa del Rey

I like that when the team want something and fight for it, they achieve it. We have to bring that mentality to the match in Getafe. If we want something, we have to fight for it and not stop until we get it. We want to start the second half of the season in the best possible way.

Getting a first away win

We know we want to win matches, and we have to. The need for that win is as great as the desire to achieve it. We want to give our best performance, get a positive result, and we're going to do everything possible to make it happen.

Last season's second half of the campaign

I don't know what we'll achieve. The team are doing some very good things, even if we don't get the results we want, but we have to do things better. We have to reduce the number of goals we concede, improve on set pieces… Tomorrow's opponents take full advantage of those opportunities. The more aspects of the game you dominate, the closer you are to achieving positive results. We're starting the second half of the season with that spirit of improvement.
