Corinthians admit oversight gaps as São Paulo prosecutors open Fiel da Sorte probe | OneFootball

São Paulo prosecutors have opened a criminal inquiry into Corinthians' ties with Incentiva, operator of Fiel da Sorte, after the club told them it had no oversight of services. According to Globo.com, it paid over R$6.9m between August 2023 and April 2026.

Prosecutor Cássio Conserino noted payments continued despite that lack of control and will examine whether money was kicked back to staff and any diversion of funds. The probe covers possible fraud, theft, embezzlement, tax offences, false documentation and criminal association.

Launched in June 2023, Fiel da Sorte promised weekly prizes for Fiel Torcedor members and offered digital scratchcards known as rabiscadinhas, 12 free per member each month. Promotion faded from April 2024, but the payments continued.

Incentiva lists Corinthians as its only client and has R$50,000 in share capital, its owner lives in Alagoas while the registered HQ is in Greater São Paulo. Monthly instalments rose from R$124,488.75 in August 2023 to R$343,522.50 by April 2026.

The club, led by three presidents across the period, moved last month to rescind the contract for alleged breach and is seeking R$3m in damages, the deal ran to 2028. Payments were suspended in April 2026.

Corinthians says the model paid R$3.75 per month per new member identified by OneFan, with rising membership increasing fees, while a report to the club cited rabiscadinhas until 19 December 2025. Incentiva disputes the termination and says the campaign ran until the end of May 2026, while the last federal draw authorisation expired in September 2024.
