Corinthians have appointed physiotherapist Camila Silva to Emily Lima’s women’s first-team staff, strengthening the medical department and replacing Eduardo Duci, who left in July.
In a post on Instagram, Camila said she was proud and delighted to join the club, calling it the fulfilment of a dream at the elite level of women’s football, and added that she is ready to give her best every day.
She arrives after seven years with Palmeiras, where she worked with futsal and youth teams. Alongside club roles, she also practises at Newon, a centre specialising in sports and precision medicine.
Camila is a sports physiotherapist, postgraduate in Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics and Traumatology with an emphasis on manual therapies. She also holds a specialisation in Osteopathy and is a SONAFE (Sociedade Nacional de Fisioterapia Esportiva) specialist.
Before joining the professional women’s medical team, she had already represented Corinthians as a fut7 player, remaining involved at least until June this year.
