Corinthians arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night with 24 players for Sunday’s Botafogo clash at Estádio Nilton Santos, kick-off 16:00, in the 16th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Meu Timao, Fernando Diniz is without Gabriel Paulista, who is suspended after receiving his third yellow card against São Paulo, while Hugo Farias, Charles, João Pedro Tchoca, Vitinho and Kayke remain sidelined.

Memphis Depay is still completing his physical transition and is not yet fit to play. Zakaria Labyad stayed in São Paulo to treat right knee pain.

Allan and André Luiz return from league suspension after missing the São Paulo match. Hugo Souza, Fabrizio Angileri, Matheus Bidu and Rodrigo Garro are at risk of suspension.

On arrival at the team hotel, Diniz greeted media and fans and shouted 'Vai, Corinthians!'.

Corinthians sit 16th with 18 points, the same as 12th-placed Botafogo, so victory could lift the Parque São Jorge club as many as eight places.
