Corinthians' women opened pre-season on Monday morning with laboratory screenings and physical assessments at the club's training centre. Players worked in groups before completing fitness tests.

On-pitch work was limited, with only the goalkeepers doing light ball drills while outfield players ran. According to Meu Timao, head coach Lucas Piccinato has not yet had his contract officially renewed, though he is likely to extend to 2028.

Images from the club showed newcomers Paola García and Rhaizza involved. Goalkeeper Ana Morganti and right-back Rafa Rocha have stepped up from the academy, and Marrusi has returned after a loan at Santos. The club remain active in the market, with advanced talks for midfielder Ana Vitória and forward Belén Aquino.

Dayana Rodríguez remains in Venezuela after the break and is currently unable to travel due to recent political developments. She is training remotely under staff guidance and awaiting a chance to return. Attacking midfielder Gabi Zanotti, whose deal expired on 31 December, did not report and remains in talks over a new contract.

Training continues through the week to Saturday, with plans to introduce ball work gradually in the first days.

Corinthians open their 2026 campaign on 28 January at 9:30 Brasília time against Gotham FC of the United States in a one-off Copa das Campeãs semi-final in London.
