According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have been boosted by forward Jaqueline's return as they prepare for the Brasileirão Feminino semi-finals against Bahia. She began a physical transition programme on Friday.

Jaqueline missed Monday's second leg against Cruzeiro due to chondropathy in her right knee, a cartilage wear condition. After sealing progression over the Minas side, head coach Emily Lima said she could yet have the striker available for the tie.

On Friday morning, at the women's training centre, the squad opened with strength work in the gym. They then moved to the pitch for a warm-up featuring three-against-two drills, followed by duels and an attacking organisation session led by Lima.

The team are off on Saturday and resume on Sunday at the same facility. Corinthians will hold two sessions before the semi-finals begin.

For now, only midfielder Ana Vitória is not expected to be available, as she continues rehab on an abdominal muscle injury sustained against Internacional in late August.

The first leg against Bahia is on Tuesday 15 at 21:30 at Arena Fonte Nova, with the return on 21 at 21:30 at Neo Química Arena. Flamengo and São Paulo contest the other semi-final.
