Corinthians beat Mirassol 4-1 in round six of the Paulista Feminino on Wednesday, delivering a third successive victory for the fourth time in 2026. As reported by Meu Timao, the Brabas are edging towards their longest winning run of the year.
The current sequence began with a 1-0 win at Flamengo in the Brasileiro on 3 August. It was followed by 4-1 victories over Santos and Mirassol in the national and state competitions.
Their first three-match streak of 2026 came between 23 March and 3 April, early in Emily Lima’s tenure. Corinthians beat América-MG 4-0, Botafogo 3-1 and Red Bull Bragantino 5-1, all in the Brasileiro.
A semi-final defeat to Kansas City Current in the Teal Rising Cup ended that run, but preceded their longest sequence so far. They thrashed América, of Mexico, 8-0 for third place, then back home beat Juventude 1-0, Ferroviária 3-1 and Grêmio 2-0.
After a more uneven start to May, they reeled off wins again late in the month, 4-1 against Mixto in the Brasileiro and 1-0 over Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil, before the World Cup break. On resumption, they edged Ferroviária 1-0 in the state competition.
The Mirassol win leaves Corinthians third in the Paulista standings on 10 points. They have a game in hand on São Paulo, fourth with nine, who play Santos on Thursday at 19:00.
Next up is Bahia in the penultimate round of the Brasileiro on Saturday at 17:30, at Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, Bahia.
