Corinthians are close to clearing their injury list before a decisive run-in, with the Brasileirão Feminino final on Saturday, then the Libertadores and the Paulistão play-in to follow.
According to Meu Timao, midfielder Ana Vitória began her physical transition back to group work on Tuesday after an abdominal muscle injury, and defender Erika, who had knee pain, also trained on the pitch. Both remain doubts for Saturday at Morumbis.
Corinthians trail 2-1 after the first leg at Neo Química Arena and must win by at least one to take the tie to penalties at their rivals’ ground.
Centre-back Agustina has been cleared from a left-leg muscle injury. Signed at the start of the year, she is yet to make her debut and was named in the squad for last Saturday’s Majestoso but did not leave the bench.
Two further concerns are being assessed daily, playmaker Gabi Zanotti was not at 100% last week and went off at half-time in Itaquera, while left-back Tamires twisted an ankle in the first leg and is under monitoring. Both featured in Wednesday’s on-pitch warm-ups with the group at the training ground.
