According to Meu Timao, Corinthians held their final session in Argentina on Wednesday before the Libertadores last-16 first leg at Rosario Central on Thursday, 21:30, at the Gigante de Arroyito.
The squad worked at Newell's Old Boys' base in Rosario.
Forward Kaio César joined the opening drills and took part in passing and movement work without restrictions.
They then worked in tight spaces with neutrals, stressing close support and quick combinations under pressure.
The likely XI is: Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Raniele, Allan, Breno Bidon, Rodrigo Garro, Kaio César, with Dieguinho an option, and Pedro Raul.
Fernando Diniz is without several players, starting with Memphis Depay. Registered for the tournament, his contract ran to 31 July and was not renewed.
In midfield, Zakaria Labyad has torn his left ACL and meniscus, Alex Santana has started reconditioning after trauma to the same knee and trained partly, and André Luiz has a grade two right hamstring injury.
In attack, Yuri Alberto has a grade two right hamstring injury, Kayke is recovering from left ACL surgery and Vitinho from a meniscus procedure to the same knee.
This will be the third meeting, with one win and one defeat for Corinthians, six scored and seven conceded. On 9 May 2000 they won 3-2 through Edilson and a Luizão brace, then advanced on penalties.
The return is at Neo Química Arena on 20 August at 21:30, with penalties deciding if the aggregate is level.
