Corinthians completed their final session in São Paulo ahead of Thursday's Copa Libertadores last-16 first leg against Rosario Central, 21:30 at the Gigante de Arroyito.

According to Meu Timao, the delegation travels on Tuesday afternoon and will train again on Wednesday at Newell's Old Boys' base in Argentina. The squad will not include Yuri Alberto or Memphis Depay. Alberto remains in treatment for a muscle injury in the back of his right thigh, while Depay stays out amid talks over renewing his contract.

Work at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava was split into three blocks. Players first attended a briefing on new rules in Brazilian football in the Sala de Preleção Flexform, led by former referee Cláudio Soares. A strength session in the gym followed, then on-pitch warm-up and possession work incorporating crosses and finishing.

Fernando Diniz then oversaw a 10 v 10 tactical drill tailored to Rosario Central. The coach also trialled options for the expected starting shape.

Afterwards, those who played more than 45 minutes in the win over Red Bull Bragantino headed indoors for recovery. The rest stayed outside for a small-sided game on a reduced pitch.
