Corinthians confirm signing of Ana Vitória, Brazil international midfielder

Corinthians has confirmed the finalized negotiations for the signing of Ana Vitória, a midfielder from Atlético de Madrid, Spain. The management has reached an agreement with the Spanish club and is finalizing the last details to officially announce the player.

“Sport Club Corinthians Paulista announces that it has reached an agreement with Atlético de Madrid for the transfer of midfielder Ana Vitória. Now, the club and the athlete are adjusting the final details for the contract signing,” the club stated. The Spanish team also confirmed the transfer.

“Atlético de Madrid and Corinthians have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ana Vitória. The Brazilian international, who joined our club in January 2024 from PSG, will leave the club after almost two years with us,” said Atlético.

The player had a contract with the Spanish club until June, but the Corinthians management wanted to bring her in early in preparation for the FIFA Champions Cup, which starts this January. The Brabas will travel to London on the 20th, aiming for the match against Gotham FC, from the United States, on the 28th at 9:30 AM (Brasília time), for the semifinals of the Champions Cup.

Ana Vitória's first stint at Corinthians was between 2017 and 2018, when she scored eight goals and provided three assists in 57 appearances, contributing to the Conmebol Libertadores and Brazilian Championship victories. She later moved to Benfica, Portugal, where she played from the 2018/2019 to the 2022/2023 seasons. She then joined PSG, France, and since the 2023/2024 season, she has been with Atlético de Madrid.

In the 2025/2026 season with the Spanish team, she has played 18 matches, without scoring goals or providing assists according to the website Ogol. Out of these, 11 were in the Spanish League, six in the Women's Champions League, and two in the Copa de la Reina. With the Brazilian National Team, she won a Silver medal at the Paris Olympics, France, in 2024, and played in the 2023 World Cup.

Besides the Champions Cup, the Brabas will compete in 2026: Supercopa do Brasil, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Paulista, Brasileirão, and Conmebol Libertadores. For the current season, the following players have left the Alvinegro: goalkeeper Kemelli, right-backs Letícia Santos and Paulinha, defender Mariza, and forward Eudimilla.
