Corinthians confirm signing of former Boa Vista striker for the under-20s

Corinthians, throughout the afternoon of last Friday (27), announced the arrival of forward Ryan Evaristo, 17 years old (born in March 2008), to the Under-20 category. The player joins Parque São Jorge after stints in the youth teams of Oeste (2024) and Boa Vista (2025), from Rio de Janeiro. His training contract was registered in the CBF's Daily Information Bulletin (BID) in the last few hours – see at the end of the article.

His contract will be valid until February 2029, with the possibility of signing a professional deal in the future, depending on his performance during this period. Last year, he stood out playing for Boa Vista's Under-17 and Under-20 teams. Right-footed, Ryan can play as a midfielder, on either wing, and as a central striker. The youngster is eligible to play in the youth teams until the 2029 edition of the Copinha.

In the team coached by William Batista, Ryan Evaristo will compete for a spot in the attack with Nicollas, Drude, Luiz Fernando, Rodrigão, and Luiz Fábio ‘Favela’. The Alvinegro has also announced the following players for the Under-20 category: defenders Zé Antônio (on loan from Santa Cruz), Iago Melo, and Levy Dias, as well as Christian Oliveira – the last three were previously at Flamengo.

According to Rádio TMC, Corinthians has also reached an agreement for the arrival of left-back João Vitor (2007, 18 years old), who was at Athletico-PR and has even said his goodbyes to the club on his social networks. It’s worth noting that, in this position in the Under-20s, the club does not have a specialist left-back, and William Batista has been using Guilherme Pires, originally a midfielder, as an improvised left-back.

This season, the Under-20 team is competing in the Brazilian and Paulista Championships. In the national competition, the Filhos do Terrão already have four points from two games and will return to the field this Monday (2), at 6pm (Brasília time), to face Grêmio away, in the third round of the first phase of the national tournament.
