Corinthians set to sell André to Milan for €25 million

Corinthians has arranged the sale of midfielder André, 19, to Milan, Italy, for 25 million euros (about R$ 151 million in Brazilian currency). The information was released by journalist Pedro Ramiro and confirmed by the Central do Timão.

The club will be entitled to 70% of the total negotiation, about 17 million euros. The other 30% remains divided between the agent and the player himself, as previously established. There was a possibility for the player to transfer an additional 10% to Corinthians to increase the club's percentage in the sale, but this option was dismissed.

According to Pedro Ramiro, the agreement is already in progress and only depends on the signature of President Osmar Stabile to be formalized. If the contract is signed, André is expected to remain with Corinthians until mid-year and join the Italian club at the opening of the next European window.

Milan's interest in the midfielder had already been anticipated by the Central do Timão last Friday (27), when it was revealed that the Italian club, along with Juventus, made a formal offer of 25 million euros. At that time, it was also confirmed that the athlete would only leave Brazil mid-season if accepted.

The negotiation gained new signs of progress after the player's agent posted a video on social media directly from Milan's locker rooms. The agent is already in Milan, which reinforces that the negotiations are moving positively.

Corinthians recently renewed André's contract until December 2029. The release clause is set at R$ 112 million for the national market and 100 million euros for abroad. The midfielder has also attracted interest from Inter Milan in previous inquiries.
