According to Globo.com, Corinthians could receive about R$ 2 million via FIFA's solidarity mechanism after Gabriel Martinelli's move to Al-Hilal.

The mechanism gives Corinthians 0.5% of the transfer fee, reflecting his time at the club between the ages of 12 and 13. Ituano, the side he joined after leaving Corinthians, could earn about R$ 49 million.

Al-Hilal paid 70 million euros, roughly R$ 416 million, for the 25-year-old, who won the Premier League last season and became the biggest sale in Arsenal's history.

Announced by the Saudi club at the start of the month, he has already played four games and scored a hat-trick in his second outing.

Over seven seasons with Arsenal, Martinelli made 278 appearances, scored 62 goals and provided 34 assists. He also lifted the FA Cup and the Community Shield, and featured for Brazil at the last two World Cups.
