Corinthians duo shine with standout stats in Botafogo draw

Corinthians faced Botafogo last Sunday afternoon (30), at the Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the 36th round of the Brazilian Championship and ended up drawing 2-2. The performance of Timão had some positive highlights, with two of them being the protagonists of the second goal for the black and white team.

According to data provided by Sofascore, an app specializing in sports statistics, defender Gustavo Henrique, who scored the second goal, finished the match with a great chance created, 89% pass accuracy, 5/9 duels won, four clearances, and two tackles, maintaining the highest rating of the match, with a 7.8.

Another highlight was forward Vitinho, who assisted the defender's goal. According to the statistics platform, the number 29 had one great chance created, four key passes, two successful dribbles in three attempts, and 3/5 ground duels won in 16 minutes played, maintaining a rating of 7.5.

After the draw against Botafogo, Corinthians will return to the field next Wednesday (3), at 7:30 PM (Brasília time), against Fortaleza, at Arena Castelão, for the penultimate round of the Brasileirão, aiming to finish the national tournament at least among the top eight.
