Corinthians face Minas in 20th round of Novo Basquete Brasil

On the evening of this Thursday (8), Corinthians has another important match in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). At home, Timão faces KTO Minas at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium, in Parque São Jorge, starting at 8 PM (Brasília time), for the 20th round of the competition.

The black-and-white team is enjoying a good moment after two consecutive home victories in the last rounds of December 2025. On the 27th, they overcame Caxias do Sul by 100 to 60 and, two days later, defeated União Corinthians by 88 to 76. These triumphs ended a streak of two losses and secured Corinthians a spot in the Super 8 Cup, a tournament held in January that grants the champion a place in the Basketball Champions League Americas.

Probable Lineup

For Thursday's match, Jece Leite and the coaching staff are expected to line up the team with: Elinho, Rafael Munford, Davaunta Thomas, Victão, and Lucas Cauê.

Next Fixture

After the match against Minas, Corinthians will play at home again. The next challenge will be against Cruzeiro, once more at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium, starting at 4 PM, on Saturday, the 10th.
