Corinthians face Pinheiros as Paulista Basketball playoffs begin

On the morning of this Sunday, September 21, Corinthians begins its journey towards the title of the São Paulo Basketball Championship. In the playoffs of the competition, the Parque São Jorge club faces Pinheiros in game one of the dispute, starting at 11am (Brasília time), at Henrique Villaboim Gymnasium, the opponent's home.

Just like in the NBB, the match will be decided in a best of three games. As Corinthians had a better campaign than the other club from the capital, Timão will have the benefit of playing twice at home. That is, the other two meetings, if a third is necessary, will take place at Wlamir Marques.

Possible lineup

To start the decisive phase with a victory, coach Jece Leite should use the base team that has been starting the games in the championship. Thus, the starting quintet should be formed by Elinho, Davaunta Thomas, Rafael Munford, Victão and Lucas Cauê (Gabriel Novaes).
