Corinthians fans have voted against extending forward Carol Nogueira’s contract beyond 2026, with a clear majority rejecting a 2027 renewal.

According to Meu Timao, 88.5% selected no in the poll on whether Corinthians should renew her deal for 2027, while 11.5% backed an extension.

The forward is not the first Brabas player to face resistance, with fans also opposed to new terms for defender Agustina and forward Ariel Godoi, whose contracts, like Nogueira’s, run to 31 December 2026.

Goalkeeper Ana Morganti, aged 17, received strong support, with more than 80% favouring her stay. Further polls are planned on Lelê, Thaís Regina and Vic Albuquerque.

Nogueira joined Corinthians in late 2022 under Arthur Elias. She has played 69 matches, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists.

This year has been challenging. She featured in only six of the Brabas’ 21 games in 2026, coming off the bench in five. She missed August 2025 to March 2026 for personal reasons, then was sidelined again after an April diagnosis of a left rectus femoris injury.

Budget constraints are another factor that could weigh against a new deal, with the club cautious on renewals. The current priority is talks with forward Gisela Robledo, whose contract expires in August.
