Corinthians have filed a police report after a shirt worn by Yuri Alberto in the 2025 Copa do Brasil final was stolen from the club’s Memorial at Parque São Jorge, in the Zona Leste de São Paulo, on Thursday. The club said in a statement that a visitor removed the item from its hanger and put it in a backpack.

The theft was identified only after the incident. Staff reviewed internal security footage and confirmed it had been carried out by a ticketed visitor.

Video circulating on social media shows a man in another Corinthians shirt taking the Yuri Alberto piece and placing it in his bag. The shirt is part of the historical collection on display at the Memorial.

Corinthians registered the case at the 52º Distrito Policial and activated its Departamento Jurídico, which is taking the necessary measures to punish the perpetrator and recover the stolen item.

In a note from the Departamento Cultural, the club underlined its democratic character and the right of supporters to express differing views, while condemning any act against its heritage.

The supporter has not yet been identified by the authorities. Hours later, a video showed him displaying the shirt, claiming it had been used by Yuri Alberto in the final against Vasco, and saying he went to the Memorial to recover the item.
