Corinthians hailed their transfer window as excellent after Friday’s closure.
According to Meu Timao, football executive Marcelo Paz said the club brought in seven signings with little transfer outlay and parted with 11, judging the business excellent.

Former Corinthians striker Vagner Love, most recently with Retrô in Pernambuco, announced his retirement in a post on social media.
He scored in the final match of his career.
Although Maycon departed some time ago, Corinthians still owe R$7.2 million to Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine and plan to settle the sum within 30 days.
