Corinthians face São Bernardo at 20:30 on Sunday in the final round of the Paulista first phase, with six absentees and suspension concerns, according to Meu Timao.
The headline casualties are young midfielders André Luiz and Breno Bidon. André Luiz has a ligament injury in his left ankle, while Bidon has a strain in his right hamstring.
Left-back Hugo is still recovering after arthroscopy on his right knee, and forward Kaio César is out with a right hamstring issue. Midfielder Matheus Pereira misses out through suspension after his third yellow card.
Centre-back Cacá could be left out as he negotiates a move to Vitória for the rest of the season. José Martínez has already agreed to terminate his contract with the club.
Two players, André Carrillo and Yuri Alberto, will play under the threat of a ban, and coach Dorival is also one booking from suspension. A yellow would rule them out of a possible quarter-final next weekend. Breno Bidon and André Luiz also have two cards but will not play.
After the first phase, bookings reset and Corinthians will not need to worry about those on two yellows. The exception is for anyone who collects a third yellow on Sunday.
Corinthians sit fifth in the Paulista with 11 points from seven matches, three wins, two draws and two defeats, scoring nine and conceding six.
