Corinthians honoured former right-back Paulinha before hosting Internacional in the 17th and final round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino. According to Meu Timao, women's football director Iris Sesso presented her with a commemorative plaque.

Internacional won 3-1, a result that allowed São Paulo to leapfrog Corinthians, who finished the first phase in second on 38 points.

Paulinha now plays for Internacional but spent almost a decade with Corinthians from early 2016 to the end of 2025.

The 38-year-old made 256 appearances for the club, recording 197 wins, 40 draws and 19 defeats, and collected 17 titles.

She joined as the women's programme was relaunched in 2016 and went on to win virtually every trophy lifted by the Brabas in that era.

When she left Parque São Jorge, only one player from the 2016 side remained in the squad, goalkeeper Lelê.

Corinthians face Cruzeiro in a two-legged quarter-final next, with dates to be set by the CBF. The first leg will be away in Minas Gerais, the return at Fazendinha.

Before that, they host Taubaté on Wednesday 26 at 18:30 in the Campeonato Paulista, also at Parque São Jorge.
