Corinthians host Atlético Mineiro at Neo Química Arena on Sunday at 18:30 in the 17th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with four players out and five one booking from suspension.

According to Meu Timao, four players miss out. João Pedro Tchoca is recovering after hernia surgery. Hugo Farias is returning from right knee meniscus surgery, while Vitinho has hip pain and Kayke is rehabbing a left ACL operation.

Five are on two yellow cards and would miss the next Brasileirão match against Grêmio if booked, namely goalkeeper Hugo Souza, full-backs Matheus Bidu and Fabrizio Angileri, and midfielders Rodrigo Garro and Jesse Lingard.

There are three returns from the last round. Gabriel Paulista is available after serving a suspension for accumulated bookings. Charles and Zakaria Labyad have recovered and were named in the squad for the midweek match against Peñarol. The Moroccan scored the equaliser.

Another possible return is Memphis Depay. He trained with the squad last week but did not travel to face Peñarol and continued treatment. The forward is expected to be an option on the bench.

Corinthians are 16th, the first place outside the relegation zone. After 16 matches they have four wins, six draws and six defeats. A home victory would ease pressure and pull them towards the upper half.
