Corinthians forward Jaqueline was sanctioned by the STJD on Friday for her May dismissal against Mixto, but she will be available for the Brasileirão Feminino final.

According to Meu Timao, she was charged under article 258, paragraph 2, item II, which covers disrespect towards the match officials. She was first booked for a foul, then protested, and the match report says she insulted referee Cássia França de Souza, who showed a straight red.

The code carries a penalty of one to six matches. Club lawyer Sérgio Engelberg noted the hearing was being held a day before the final and said it could affect the player mentally. The defence argued her words were an expression of discontent not specifically aimed at the referee.

The case concluded with a unanimous decision imposing the minimum one-match suspension. Because she also reached three yellows and was sent off in that incident, she served two automatic bans, missing Vitória on 26 July and Flamengo on 3 August.

Kick-off is 16h30 on Saturday at Estádio do Morumbis.
