Corinthians land four players in CBF’s 2025 Copa do Brasil women’s best XI

Last Monday (08), the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced the individual highlights and the selection of the 2025 Brazilian Women's Championship. After winning the national title for the seventh time, Corinthians was the club with the largest number of athletes included in the official list released by the entity.

Among the selected players, goalkeeper Nicole, defender Mariza, and midfielders Duda Sampaio and Gabi Zanotti were the chosen representatives from the alvinegro team by the CBF. Zanotti was also named the star of the Women's Brasileirão, while forward Jhonson received the award for revelation of the competition.

The ideal team by CBF was formed by: Nicole; Isabela (Cruzeiro), Isa Haas (Cruzeiro), Mariza and Gisseli (Cruzeiro); Brena (Palmeiras) and Lorena Bedoya (Cruzeiro); Gabi Zanotti and Duda Sampaio; Amanda Gutierres (Palmeiras) and Letícia (Cruzeiro). The award for best coach went to Jonas Urias, from Cruzeiro.

In addition to the four players present in the selection, defender Erika received the award for the most beautiful goal of the Brasileirão. The awarded play occurred in the match against Bahia, in the quarterfinals of the competition.

Corinthians won the 2025 Women's Brasileirão by surpassing Cruzeiro with an aggregate score of 3 x 2 in the final. The team had eliminated São Paulo in the semifinals and Bahia in the quarterfinals. In the first phase, the alvinegro team finished in second place.
