Corinthians landed in Curitiba with a 24-man squad on Saturday for their Brasileiro meeting with Coritiba at Couto Pereira at 19:30 on Sunday, part of the 24th round. According to Meu Timao, several regulars are absent.

The delegation arrived around 17:00 and were met by dozens of supporters at the team hotel.

Goalkeeper Hugo Souza and full-backs Matheuzinho and Matheus Bidu did not travel, with no reasons disclosed. Midfielder Rodrigo Garro is suspended after an accumulation of yellow cards.

Injuries also thin the squad. Centre-back André Ramalho is recovering from labyrinthitis. André Luiz has a grade 2 tear in his right hamstring, and Zakaria Labyad ruptured the ACL and damaged the meniscus in his left knee, ending his season.

In attack, top scorer Yuri Alberto, on eight goals, remains sidelined with a grade 2 right hamstring injury. Vitinho is rehabbing after left knee meniscus surgery, and Kayke has a ruptured left ACL, both out for the season.

There is a boost with Memphis Depay among the 24, as he could make his first league outing in almost four months. Lingard has also recovered from an ankle sprain and travelled.

Corinthians lost 2-0 at home to Coritiba on 11 March, yet lead the head-to-head with 33 wins, 17 defeats and 13 draws from 64 meetings. A victory would bolster their push for a 2027 Libertadores place. They started the round ninth on 32 points, four behind fifth-placed Cruzeiro, with Coritiba 10th on 31.
