Corinthians will begin their 2026 Brasileiro Feminino title defence away to Atlético-MG on 15 February, the Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed.
The league expands from 16 to 18 clubs, creating 23 matchdays. Total games rise from 134 to 167.
Key dates include Palmeiras away in round three on 15 March. São Paulo at home comes in round 10 on 10 May. Santos away is in round 15 on nine August, and the first phase ends at home to Internacional.
After a single round-robin, the top eight reach two-legged quarter-finals using Olympic seeding, first versus eighth and so on. The bottom two are relegated.
Quarter-finals are slated for 30 August and six September, semi-finals for 13 and 20 September, and the final for 27 September and four October.
Corinthians are record champions with seven titles and enter as six-in-a-row winners after 2020 to 2025, plus 2018. Before the league, they face Gotham FC at London’s Gtech Community Stadium on 28 January in the Copa das Campeãs semi-final.
Each club will receive R$ 720,000 in the first phase, with a R$ 20,000 bonus for games selected as the national broadcaster’s first pick. Prize money is R$ 2 million for the champions and R$ 1 million for the runners-up.
All participants enter this season’s Copa do Brasil Feminina. From 2027, all registered players must hold professional contracts. Every match will be broadcast, clubs will receive performance analysis tools, and lactating players may travel with their children at the federation’s expense.
